People’s National Movement Point Fortin constituency will have to look for a new candidate for the next General Election as the party has rejected incumbent Member of Parliament Edmund Dillon, according to information reaching SouthsidenewsTT, following the party’s screening exercise on Saturday.
The party’s central executive has asked the constituency to look for a new Candidate,.SouthsidenewsTT was also informed by a well-placed source inside the Point Fortin constituency there were several discrepancies during the nomination process.
Mr Dillion, a former Chief of Defence Staff, is currently the Housing Minister. He also held the portfolio of National Security Minister from September 9, 2015, to August 5, 2018
