Huawei Technologies (T&T) donates 2,000 face masks to TTPS

Huawei Technologies (T&T) Limited has donated 2,000 face masks and boxes of sanitizers to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service in the fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic.

In a brief handover ceremony which took place at the Police Administration Building, Corner Edward and Sackville Streets, Port-of-Spain, on Friday 1st May 2020.

Chief Executive Officer of Huawei, Jeff Jin, made the presentation to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Irvin Hackshaw.

Jeff Jin, says during this pandemic and with the stay at home orders, Huawei continues to provide essential services supporting connectivity”. He further added that “he feels safe with the knowledge that the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service continues to protect all of us, as we collectively fight the COVID-19 crisis.

Mr Jin went on to say that the gift presented today is to demonstrate that our company is a committed partner in the community with TTPS, and together we will go through the challenges of this crisis and conquer it. Huawei supports stay at home and stay healthy.

speaking of behalf of the Police service Deputy Commissioner of Police, Irwin Hacksaw, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith, and all the men and women of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. “This donation is a good gesture as the items are needed in the Police Service”.
