Police have Arrested two person for Possession of a Firearm, Ammunition and Marijuana
The two were arrested for possession of a firearm, ammunition, and marijuana during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Lopinot district this morning, Wednesday 22nd April 2020.
Officers conducted a search at Mc David Trace, Surrey Village, Lopinot, and the two suspects were allegedly found to be in possession of a homemade shotgun, three rounds of 12 gauge cartridges and 305 grams of marijuana. The party of officers then made a trek one mile off the Mc David Trace where a cannabis field was fine and 500 fully grown trees and 200 seedlings were destroyed.
The exercise was initiated by Snr Supt David, coordinated by Sgt La Pierre and included Cpl Forde, Cpl Superville, members of the Northern Division Task Force West and personnel from the k9 unit investigation are continuing
