Some staff at URP Point Fortin are calling on the Ministry of Works and Transport Unemployment Relief Programme Director to commence an audit into the operation at the Point Fortin Office immediately. Over the past weeks staff is alleging that the Manager who is referred to as Ms. Big (C) is out of control

Southsidenewstt is in receipt of a WhatsApp message which has been circulating by some staff members, who Ms. Big (C) refer to as the office dissident are calling for help. We also understand that materials and equipment’s are being moved to and from the stores department without any records. It is further alleged, when security request to record the items being removed from the compound, they are regularly reminded, I am in charge here.  We have been told that Ms. Big (C) and some staff members of the materials department at the office have a special relationship

All this came to a head on, Friday 9th July 2021 when the unplanned construction at the office in Point Fortin became a very contentious issues following the heavy rains which flood out the office leaving several important files, office equipment, and electrical panel exposed to the weather causing mass hysteria among staff at the office.

Southsidenewstt attempted to reach out to the Program Director at his office on Friday, but he was not available for comment.

However, we can confirm of an emergency meeting by the Program Manager South for Monday morning to discuss the issues with construction at office.
