The launch of the National Local Roads & Street Signage Programme in the Point Fortin Borough Corporation took place on Wednesday morning.
The first sign installed was in honour of cultural icon and son of the soil, Austin “Super Blue” Lyons.
Southsidenewstt was told the street and signage programme is an initiative of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago to bring the street signs up to International Standard and during the coming week all street signs in the Borough will be upgraded.
