Seventeen persons were arrested for various offences between the hours of 7:00 am on Wednesday 13th May to 3:00 am Thursday 14th May 2020 by officers who conducted anti-crime exercises in the Northern Division.
In a statement from the TTPS during an anti-crime exercise, the officers in the Tunapuna District arrested six persons for outstanding maintenance warrant in the Arima District. Seven persons for Breach of COVID-19 Regulations.
Aman was also arrested for larceny of a quantity of premium alcohol, keys and automatic gate controls. Three persons for gang-related offences were also arrested.
Investigations are continuing .
